During 2020, in the span of three to four months, West Zion Lutheran Church developed a creative collection of On-Line Ministries, thanks to their cooperative work with Shepherd of the Hills and East Zion Lutheran churches.
>WORSHIP: Our Sunday Morning, 9:30am, live-streamed worship services are up-beat, informal, ½ hour presentations which combine videos, images, scripture, prayers and a live message from Pr. Steve. They are broadcast on Shepherd of the Hills Facebook page. Also, each service is downloaded onto this website, and can be found in the: “Services & Events” section.
>DAILY PRAYERS: At 10am, Tuesday – Friday, Pr. Steve streams a brief prayer time, using selected scriptures, images, background music, and opportunities for silent prayers. These are broadcast on Shepherd of the Hills Facebook page, and can also be accessed on this website, in the Services & Events Section.
>FAMILY SUNDAY SCHOOL (During the school year): Every Sunday in April, May & June, our three congregations hosted a fun little, 15-minute Sunday School Time, which we broadcast from the churches on a rotating schedule. This gave many households in the area an opportunity to include their children in some Christian learning, and music, and silly fun! Plans for the upcoming school year are still in the works, depending on how things unfold with Covid-19 concerns.
